Sociopath-In-Chief

Have we really come to this as a society? Do we really need to recall soup because it presents a choking hazard? I suppose the fact that the soup that they are recalling is called “Chunky” isn’t enough of a warning that one shouldn’t just swallow it without chewing. I guess Evian is going to initiate a recall of bottled water because it presents a potential for drowning next.

For those of you who feel as I do about not supporting the war in Iraq and the accusations of not supporting the troops during the course of not supporting said war; I present Exhibit A in hypocrisy by the Bush administration. This, my friends, is a slap in the face if I have ever seen one. On to Exhibit B in hypocrisy. If Exhibits A and B are considered to be “support” for the troops, then my name is Tits McGee. Speaking of Bush, I am surprised that this woman wasn’t arrested, flown to Guantanamo and subsequently tortured.

Speaking of torture, did you folks know that the United States doesn’t use torture? Well, that’s what our fearless leader tells us. What this imbecilic President says is true, unless you consider a combination of painful physical and psychological tactics, including head-slapping, simulated drowning and frigid temperatures to be torture. I am starting to get the impression that these people in charge of our country are sociopaths to the highest degree. Scratch that. They are sociopaths. No question about it.

On the subject of sociopathy, let’s discuss that condition for a minute within the context of the Bush administration. I’m going to list the criteria for diagnosing Anti-Social Personality Disorder (sociopathy) according to the DSM-IV & DSM-IV-TR and am going to place alongside this list examples of this behavior displayed by the Bush administration. Here goes:
  1. failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest (violations of International law (Nuremburg Principles)with regards to the invasion of Iraq)
  2. deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure (Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, Iraq was trying to build a nuclear weapon, Iraq was in league with Al Qaeda, “This administration never said that Saddam Hussein had anything to do with 9/11")
  3. impulsivity or failure to plan ahead (ummmm… the ENTIRE OCCUPATION OF IRAQ)
  4. irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults (Cheney telling a United States Senator to go fuck himself)
  5. reckless disregard for safety of self or others (the invasion of Iraq, probable torture of prisoners in Gitmo)
  6. consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations (no plan for Iraq, allowing the dissolution of the Iraqi military even though they were not loyal to Saddam Hussein, the mounting national debt because of the ongoing war costs, taking frequent vacations while our soldiers die by the dozens nearly every day in a country that doesn’t want us there)
  7. lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another (continues to pursue a failed course of action in Iraq, does not consider physical abuse of persons without access to Habeas Corpus to be torture or wrong in any way)

I’m sure you get the picture here. Do I really need to say more?
